Mucha Punk...

Inspired by the fashion of Steampunk Couture http://www.steampunkcouture.com/ and Kato's Closet http://www.steampunkcouture.com/forsale/c/kato-closet

I love steampunk and love the fashion of the site and figure it'd be fitting to spin it in an Art Nouveau/Mucha style which is like a plethora of awesome sauce to me.

Looking to do more with this style and the fashion and I hope others will too.

Yes, Mommie Dearest

If you've ever seen the film, "Mommie Dearest," the most memorable scene was the part when Joan Crawford goes into freak mode when she discovers her daughter's hung her clothes using wire hooks. With that in mind, I doubt Ms. Crawford would approve of my hanging materials.

So Let It Be Written #1

I know, I know. I'm going to hell. But you're laughing so you're coming with me! There are many ways to spin this so I'll leave it to you to dissect the message. I want to do a continuous series on the exodus story. I have a couple new Vader stories written so I'll be working on those for a little bit. Of course, I have to give props to "The Ten Commandments" for reference.

I love the dialogue in this because it is so not like how they talk in the film where everything is so formal and over the top. It's a good contrast.

A Little Cold...

All about the concept of revenge and a pretty groovy self portrait. I had no intention but someone mentioned this looked like a portrait from "The Godfather." I laughed because it really does with the shirt and all the black, I guess I sort of did it subconsciously. But I had to correct that person a little bit because there are two mob movies that share this kind of scheme with their posters. "The Godfather" we've already covered and "Goodfellas." Check out both of those posters if you haven't and you'll see how big of a dork I am.

Another funny thing is when I was working on this all night, I was listening to "Scarface" on television behind me. They played it three times. "I bury those cockaroaches!"Fun fun.

Color...

Color version from Someone Else... It works with pulling some things out that you may not catch in the original pencil drawing.
